3. Word Order

Word order dalam bahasa Inggris merupakan sebuah susunan kata secara baku untuk membentuk sebuah kalimat yang memiliki makna utuh.

Seperti contohnya dengan kalimat “I love you” yang ternyata disusun dengan bentuk subject + verb + object (SVO) yang pada akhirnya memiliki arti untuk digunakan.

Jika dibalik susunannya, maka kata tersebut tidak memiliki arti sama sekali.

Pada susunan kalimat bahasa Inggris umumnya menggunakan urutan SVO, sebagai contoh:

• She baked Portuguese egg tarts. (Dia memanggang Portuguese egg tarts.)
• They found nothing. (Mereka tak menemukan apapun.)
• Dini and her family love cats. (Dini dan keluarganya menyukai kucing.)

Describing place About Borobudur Temple :

Borabudur – located in Magelang, Central Java, Indonesia – is a famous nineteenth – century Mahayana Buddhist Temple. The monument consists of six square, nine stacked platforms, and 3 circulars, topped by a central dome. The temple is beautified with 2,672 relief panels and 504 Buddha statues. The central dome is circled by 72 Buddha statues, each seated inside a perforated stupa. It is the world’s largest Buddhist temple in the world.

Sam Poo Kong

     Sam Po Kong Temple is a former stopover and first landing place for a Muslim Chinese admiral named Zheng He / Cheng Ho, located in the Simongan area, Semarang.  Now the place is used as a place of remembrance and a place of worship or prayer as well as a place for pilgrimage.  In this Sam Poo Kong temple there is a statue of Admiral Cheng Ho.  The statue has a height of 12.7 meters, that is, the height of the statue is 10.7 meters, plus the place for the statue is 2 meters.  The 12.7 meter tall statue replaced the old statue which was only 1.8 meters tall.  Like other pagodas in general, the Sam Poo Kong pagoda is dominated by red.  This pagoda has a fairly large yard, there are a number of statues, including the statue of Admiral Cheng Ho, which is quite interesting to enjoy.  It is in this courtyard that artistic attractions in the form of dances, lion dances or other art forms are held to commemorate historic days
