Describe a Person


Hallo! Apa kabar teman-teman? Masih semangat buat belajar Bahasa Inggris? Well, materi kita kali ini adalah describe a person atau dalam Bahasa Indonesia disebut mendeskripsikan seseorang. Mari kita simak materi ini!!

1. Definition 
    Describe a person is to describe a person by                        mentioning their physical characteristics. 

2. Purpose 
     The purpose is to give information or description                  to the readers or listeners about the                                        characteristics of the person.

3. Vocabulary

4. Word Order 
     The sentence structure that we are usually                     familiar with is subject + verb + object which is           called the word order which is useful for                       distinguishing one sentence from another.
     
      Example: 
  • She baked Portuguese egg tarts. (Dia memanggang Portuguese egg tarts.)
  • They found nothing. (Mereka tak menemukan apapun.)

     Sandra: Good morning
     Security: Good morning, ma'am. Can I help you?
     Sandra: My daughter and I were separated. I am                                afraid she is looking for me now. I would                              like you to help me announcing my                                          whereabouts, so she can find me
     Security: All right ma'am. Could you tell me what                                 your name?
     Sandra: My name is Sandra
     Security: And your daughter's?
     Sandra: She name is Candra
     Security: Can you give me more information                                          about she?
     Sandra: She is eight years old, her has long black                                hair, and pointed nose. She wears pink T-                              shirt and white pants
     Security: Where did you last see her?
     Sandra: I saw she last at the ice cream booth near                            the roller coaster area
     Security: Okay. Don't worry ma'am. We will find                                      them in no time
     Sandra: I hope so. Thank you so much
