GOING TO CAMB✿DIA

Hai everyone! It's been too long since I posted an article on this blog. As you can see on the screen, our topic is about the trip to Cambodia.

Cambodia has a long and interesting history. However, our ASEAN neighbor has also gone through a dark history of Khmer Rouge rule and civil war. This is what captivates the attention of many international tourists. From the ruined temples and white sands of the coast, Cambodia has a unique allure.

As a person who loves traveling, I will visit Cambodia to see the tourists destinations in Cambodia. One of them is Angkor Wat.

After looking for tickets to travel to Cambodia.

I decided to take a flight to Cambodia on July 24, 2023 At 12.05 p.m., with a ticket price of Rp.5,300,000.00 with Air Asia airlines. The day of flying to Cambodia arrived, at 10:00 a.m, I went to Ahmad Yani airport Semarang, and at 12:05 p.m Air Asia takes off for the airport Syamsudin Noor Banjarmasin, arrived at 14:20 p.m for getting transit. From Banjarmasin at 16.30 p.m, arrived at Jakarta Soekarno Hatta International Airport at 17.10 p.m to check in again. From Jakarta at 02.40 a.m, arrive at Don Moesang International Airport Bangkok at 06.15 a.m for getting transit again. The last flight at 07.45 a.m from Bangkok airport to Phnom Penh International airport Cambodia arrive at 08.55 a.m.

That was my trip from Ahmad Yani Airport Semarang to Phnom Phen International Airport Cambodia. For those of you who want to go abroad and take a plane for the first time, don't be confused about where the room you are going to visit is. At the airport there are instructions that will direct you according to the procedure as shown below:

1. You can buy airplane tickets and pay online

2. Come to the airport according to the schedule written on the airplane ticket

3. Check the departure get on the boarding pass that you get when checking in

4. Before boarding the plane, prepare the boarding pass first

5. Collect your luggage at the baggage claim when you arrive at your destination

Now back to my story in Cambodia. After arriving in Cambodia I went straight to the hotel and then to Angkor Wat. Feeling hungry for quite a while at Angkor Wat, I wanted to go find a place to eat Cambodian food. This food is called "Amok" which is made from fragrant and spicy coconut fish steamed in banana leaves.

Waiter: Can I help you, ma'am?

Me: I'd like to order a portion of amok with white rice.

Waiter: Anything else, ma'am?

Me: with iced lemon tea, and mineral water.

Waiter: okay, ma'am. Your order will be ready

Me: thank you

After I finished eating and paid, my stomach suddenly hurt.

Me: I'm sorry, can you show me where the bathroom is?

Waiter: please go straight from the cashier, then turn right.

Me: thank you very much

Waiter: you're welcome

Barista: Welcome, ma'am. How may I help you?

Me: I'd like to order a tall caramel latte and a new york cheesecake.

Barista: Would you like it iced or hot, ma'am?

Me: I'd like it iced

Barista: Total of all IDR 88,000.00

Me: (takes out Rp.100,000.00)

Barista: Here's your change, ma'am. Thank you very much
